Members of the APOA prepare to get their heads shaved for the St. Baldrick's Day activities at Matt Denny's Ale House Restaurant in Arcadia.  Members of the APOA acquired their own sponsors, willing to make monetary donations to the St. Baldrick's Foundation to cure childrens' cancer, if they got their heads shaved at the event.

The purpose of this annual event is to raise money for childrens' cancer research and to support children undergoing cancer therapy by going bald to show empathy and support.
